This lab is my playground. It was started some time ago, when I was writing the first applications and questions like "Where do I host this application now? How do I expose it on internet?" have begun to appear. This is how the first web server was installed. Later I wanted a source control, then a database server and after that a VPN server in order to connect to the network remotely.

At this point the components were already numerous and I felt that a common user among all this would make my system administration much easier, so I started reading about Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and that's how the Domain Controller appeared. At the same time, the physical machines had become numerous, so I had to leave the keyboard and get my hands on the UTP cable and the crimping plier.

My curiosities have exceeded the Microsoft area and I started to explore new concepts such as VMware, Linux, Open source projects, Docker, Proxmox, clusters, ARM, Raspberry Pi and others. A big part of the evolution of the network was also influenced by my work activities.

Currently, my home lab combines all my software and hardware skills, helps me experience more and more things and continues to expand.
